Fallen rapper Heavy D had some tax issues having over his head at the time of his passing in late 2011. The beloved rapper's estate reportedly owes the IRS back taxes from the years 2008 and 2009.

According to TMZ, the Franchise Tax Board in California filed documents claiming that Heavy D, born Dwight Myers, has a tax lien against him in the amount of $43,967.87 from those years.

The late entertainer joins a long list of notable stars that have had tax issues in the past several years, including Jermaine Dupri, Nas and many others in hip hop.
